Herramientas para descargar Vídeos

Últimamente están apareciendo diferentes herramientas que no solo nos permiten descargar vídeos de plataformas como YouTube, sino que además nos permiten convertir estos a otros formatos. De momento parece que ninguna se encuentra en los repositorios, pero todo es cuestión de tiempo:

Segunda Beta de Guadalinex V5

El pasado día 10 de Julio fue lanzada la segunda beta de la futura Guadalinex V5, mucho más pulida y parecida a la que será la versión definitiva.

Algunas diferencias respecto a las anteriores versiones de prueba:

• Se ha incluido una nueva opción en el instalador para reutilizar particiones existentes y también permite actualizar a la última versión de Guadalinex.

• Se ha cambiado la versión de java incluida de openjdk-6 a sun-java6 para mejorar la compatibilidad con aplicaciones de administración electrónica.

• Se han incorporado nuevas aplicaciones, como pueden ser “Cheese” una divertida aplicación para controlar la webcam, nuevos diccionarios y ejemplos.

• Se han unificado los criterios de nomenclatura del menú

• Se ha incorporado más funcionalidad al administrador de archivos de Gnome, Nautilus como es la posibilidad de manipular imágenes o compartir ficheros y carpetas más fácilmente.

• Mejoramos la configuración multimedia, con una selección de codecs populares
